VION Yorkshire Wolds Cycle Challenge Completed
That was a fantastic weekend. The riders battled with bad rain on Saturday morning but completed the 73 miles in good spirits. The weather picked up for a pleasant evening. The food and entertainment in the evening were excellent and the mood was good. Sunday started brighter but was punctuated by some rain - shall we say a gentle cooling effect? - Enthusiasm was high at the end of that day's 73 miles and most seem to be saying they will be back next year bringing more friends to join them.
Look out for it in the calendars - we hope to do it a bit earlier next year now that the route is open.
And the best part is that the coffers of Ryedale Special Families are set to be a little fuller - don't forget to actually get that sponsorship in please!
